Having a Toy Story birthday, but haven't seen the movies

Somewhere along the line, DS became intrigued with Toy Story, so we're using it as the theme for his 2nd birthday party.  I know it involves "old" toys, but I don't have any idea what the "story" is.

Are there any food references that could guide our choices?  I'll make the cake, and I was thinking maybe an Etch-a-Sketch with the happy birthday on it??

The party will just be family, so it's not a huge deal, but I'd still like it all to tie together.  Thanks!

Re: Having a Toy Story birthday, but haven't seen the movies

  • In the first movie they went to Pizza Planet (and that is where the met the aliens).  In the second movie, the only thing I can think of are the big cheese puffs that were on the ground when Al had Woody. Besides that, I really cannot think of any other food references.  In the first two they were mainly in houses, the second one they were in multiple places (looking for Woody, Al's Toy Barn, Al's apartment, the airport), and in the third one they were mainly in daycare and at the end in the landfill.

I would say really any foods that kids like would work.  Good luck :)

It took over four years to be diagnosed with PCOS. We TTC #1 for 18 months, did 5 rounds of Clomid and finally moved onto IVF...which worked! Throughout our IF journey, we suffered 3 miscarriages. We conceived both DD and DS without treatment.
