Success after IF

Visited a PRESCHOOL today - Jack's going in the fall (older 2's/young 3's class.)

He'll go twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, each class last 2.5 hours.  I actually have one more school to visit (both offer the same type of class one those days in the afternoon.)

Really liked the one we saw today, Jack ran right in and started playing.  And charmed the pants off the director as we left, saying "Bye Mih Jane!"  My brilliant boy!  So it was fun and I feel good about it.  And it will give my mom more of a break - she watches him 2 full days and 2 half days right now.  Starting in the fall once he starts preschool it will be 1 full day and 2 - 3 (even shorter) half days, and she's fine with that.  It's complicated, getting all this figured out, but somehow we all manage, huh?

Wheee!

  • Hayden is starting school in the fall as well and I am kind of sad.  While I will need the break, I have never left him anywhere on a regular basis like this.  I know he is going to love it though so I'm excited for him!  I hope you have an easy time choosing a school - both of the ones we saw were so different that it made it difficult to choose.

  • I am so happy that I didn't have to shop for schools.  My sister did that for me-  her 2 kids go to the same school Nicholas just started last month.   And I trust my sister's judgement- her kids have gone since they were 2, so I am very pleased with our decision.
