Hey ladies, I just wanted to say that if you're hurting all over or need to let loose of some stress, prenatal yoga is awesome. I've been going for about a month and it helps me out so much. When my back hurts (which i injured over 7 years ago) i'm now doing some of the poses at home and it's working miraculously.
I just got back from my class and feel amazing. The yogi cancelled last week and I could really tell I needed it. Afterwards she does about a 10minute meditation/relaxation exercise and it almost puts me to sleep every time.
Anyway, just wanted to share! Try it!

I feel the same way about exercising in general. I finally had enough energy to go for a nice jog today (first time jogging outside since finding out I was pregnant)... and I didn't get sick! YAY!!
I totally get the feel amazing comment and the stress reduction. AHHH... feels so good.
I exercise 3 days a week and take prenatal yoga 1 day a week and I feel great after each session.
I absolutely LOVE the prenatal yoga and always feel more connected to my babies afterwards. I highly recommend finding a class.
i'm also learning so much about my body, pregnancy and especially labor too. the woman who teaches our class was a doula for over 25 years and she is so knowlegable about everything! a woman who was 37 weeks had a baby who was facing (can't remember the exact term) "sunny side down" and our yogi showed her poses to move him/her "sunny side up." it worked within a couple days and she gave birth with no complications. i just find it so interesting.
today we practiced kegels while being distracted as well as trying to keep everything other muscle relaxed. i admit i need practice but the whole exercise is in preparation for an "easier" labor!
and yes, i agree, i always come out feeling a lot more connected to my baby!
