2nd babies...what do you need?

My friends are throwing me (and two other girls) a "sprinkle" for our second babies. While I never thought I'd have any sort of shower for the second baby, I'm honored they want to do this for me! 

The party is already this month (since one of the ladies is moving and one is due soon).  I won't know the gender yet, so I'm curious of ideas of things to register for?  I am at a loss, since there's really nothing small I need, just big (and I won't be putting the big stuff on the registry at all, I'll be purchasing it myself).  Right now I have a couple of bottles, diapers, and some washcloths...any other ideas?  Thanks!!

Without knowing the sex a sprinkles pretty hard.

Id stick to little things like you already have, towels, teething toys, tylenols, & stuff like that.

I had a sprinkle because my family insisted on having one because #2 was the opposite sex as #1.

Sorry I won't be much help, I haven't even thought of stuff yet, other than clothes for the other sex. I'm interested to hear what people say...

New bottles/nipples, bibs, blankets for #2 (my DD still likes those little cotton carters blankets), unisex onesies, few new little toys, diapers, wipes, breast pump parts, milk storage bags, gel soothies (boobies), breast pads, Lansinoh, new teethers, pacis, a few new changing pad covers and changer (mine is shot), baby wash, desitin, nose bulb, and books. Those are most of what I plan to put on my registry to keep track of what I need. I get amazon points thru our visa so I plan to start ordering in 3rd tri.

I'm stumped too, without knowing the sex is especially tough. All we really need unrelated to sex are large items too.

Thanks, I think I'll definitely need a new changer and some of those lamb mats (or waterproof mat thingys).  I didn't think about milk storage, either.  Thanks!!

do you need more bibs?  I can't believe it, but we kind of do!  DS has fed himself since 11 months so we go through bibs at each meal.  How about a couple books or toys for this LO to call their own?  We are selecting a "comfy" for this one as well.  Some utensils or extra cups?  We are getting more sleep sacks for this one.  Socks.  Baby book?  We need more covers and prefolds (we CD).  Wipes? Something you didn't have for #1 but would have liked?

 Thanks for the great ideas!!  Now that I think of it, I definitely could use some more sleep sacks and love the idea of a few toys of his/her own.  I also definitely want a Padalily for this one (pad for the infant carrier so it's easier to carry).  Too bad they don't sell them where I'm registering!

Here's a few things that we're getting #2 (that DS has but we either wanted a second of, or a replacement). I don't think I would necessarily put some of these on a registry, but I thought it might help.

I was just making my own list (not registry, waiting for that until after anatomy scan.)

We need washcloths, baby toiletries, burp clothes, blankies, a glow seahorse thing that ds has and sleeps with every night, I am going to get a backpack in place of a diaper bag, we need a new bouncer since DH got rid of ours, socks, white onesies, a baby bathtub....probably some sort of floor toy/mat. I need nursing pads/bras/cream. I also want to stock up on the infant medication and find a decent thermometer.

I will try to come up with more ! Keep it going ladies I need reminders.

I don't think you can go wrong with onesies and burp cloths. I know DS's onesies and a lot of the burp cloths are stained with spit up and food. It'll be nice to get fresh, clean new ones!
