i've pretty much have had my fill of pregnancy books and i'm beginning to venture into the world of parenting books....kind of behind the 8 ball, i get it. anyways, out of curiousity, what parenting books are you reading or have you read that you could recommend? i already have happiest baby on the block.
Re: what are you reading?
to be honest, im a chapter or two deep- i started reading it a few months back and thought that i'd retain more and find it more meaningful once lo is actually here and i can put the practice into place. if it's any consolation, i've heard many good things about it so my guess is it's worth the read. thanks for the dr. sears tip- i'll check it out!
These are ones that I have read and liked
Heading Home with Your Newborn From Birth to Reality
Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child
Happiest Baby on the Block
The Baby Whisperer
Babywise (some parts are good, others not)
I like reading What to Expect the First Year as they go through the first year. I will probably read it each month throughout the first year.
