My daughter has just started putting her hands "down there" during bath time. Any ideas as to how to keep her ands out of there. Right now I'm just moving her hands and saying "no hands".
DD does the same thing.. I think it is normal though.. I try to keep her occupied like by counting fingers etc I ask her to point to her ears eyes nose mouth lol it usually works... ORR I just let her hold something.
It is a normal part of development. Bath time is an appropriate time to explore one's body. DS touches his penis sometimes during his bath, and I tell him, "That's your penis," just like I tell him the name of any other body part.
Re: No Hands...
It is normal for her to do that. It would be no different than the first time they discover their feet and grab them all the time.
If you make a huge deal out of it, she might just do it more.
I think that you are doing just fine.
