Contrax waking me up all night, today = nothing

I've been having plenty of BH, some of them uncomfortable, sometimes timeable, but never painful.

Last night, I kept getting woken up by painful, really tight contractions. I kept trying to sleep through them, thinking I would need some rest if it was real.

Woke up this morning and haven't had a single one since then. Kind of dissapointing but I do have a date with DH tonight so at least that's still on the schedule. Might go get a pedi and massage tomorrow too, so if she wants to wait until at least Saturday to come, I'm okay with that. But it's a bummer to suffer through those contrax all night and miss all that sleep.

I think I would be pretty annoyed too, but at least you get your date night!

Hopefully it just means a quicker labor when it is time.  Enjoy your alone time!!

Was coming to this board to post a similar posting! Contractions all night, then I woke up nauseous and puked 3 times, then more contractions. i laid in bed waiting to see what happens, turn to each side and try and time them. By the time i got to figuring out how to time them, they were measuring 6 minutes from start to start. I got uber excited and started walking around the apartment to make sure I got everything under control, and they went away! I was so pissed. I hadn't had on BH yet, and now they show up? The jerks. So yeah, I'm pretty disappointed too. I hope you have a very nice date night and that everything goes smoothly.

Welcome to my life for the last week. Almost every night I get strong, close-together contractions and then usually during the day they back off to 15-20 minutes apart. Today they were up to 6-10 minutes apart for an hour and a half during late morning and now they're decreased again. It's so frustrating!

Hooray for date night though!
