Washing ideas?

Thanks to the current cold snap/weather my pipes to the washer and the drum itself keeps freezing.  It's been 4 days since I was able to do cd laundry.  Just when I or DH get it all defrosted, another component has refrozen.  I am hoping that today's balmy 32 degrees will help the issue, but I need to come up with some ideas on hand cleaning diapers just in case. .I used my last ON last night, have only one pocket for naptime today and a couple diapers to last me to evening, but after that I am out.  I have a combo of AIO, fitteds, and pockets. Is hand cleaning one easier than the otheres? Do I soak in tub and rub them together with laundry detergent?  Any ideas or experience with having to handwash cds?
