I'm allowed a little "epic fail" right?! :o(

I'm allowed a little "epic fail" right?!

Our baby monitor went dead in the middle of the night before last.  So, after work I had to run all over town until 9:45p to get a monitor that worked, while DH was home with DS.  I could have gone without a monitor, but DS is too far away from our room, and without a monitor we can't hear him.

So, 2 new monitors and $300.00 down...we have success!  Don't worry, I'm returning one of them.

Needless to say it was a very stressful evening.

I didn't care, I ate a bowl of pasta and texas toast.  I know, epic, but very comforting....

  • I ate the last piece of my son's birthday cake this morning for breakfast due to a horrible night of sleep training with my infant.  I needed that frosting to get me through another snowbound day stuck in the house.  I hear ya girl...very comforting.

  • Eh, a little carbolicious, but not too bad. I wouldn't beat myself up over it.
