any tips for the trans. from bass. to crib?

We want to transition DS from bassinet to his crib this week...anyone have any tips?  I try to put him in it during the day for his naps but he never seems to sleep very long in it...

we did this & i just stood there over him with my hand on him (to make it feel to him like i was still holding him).

It works for us. Plus we have a ocean cd & also a fan that kinda soothes him
