Did any of you wear a maternity belt?

I could have sworn something (I guess meaning contractions, irritable ute, or etc.) was going on with all the pressure and etc. I'm feeling way down low, but my MFM said this morning that I'm just feeling the baby and that her head is waaaayyyyyyy down there.  She said don't worry, blah blah blah, and mentioned I could get a maternity belt if I was really uncomfortable.

I googled and they look kind of bizare!  Did you wear one?  Is it really that helpful/ "worth it"?  I'm not having any back problems, fwiw.

  • I got one because she was really low and I was having horrible back pain.  It was such a waste.  I could only wear it if I was going to be standing for a long time because it was super uncomfortable to sit in.  I could feel a difference in pressure when I took it off but it definitely wasnt something I needed and I wish I had used the $40 for clothes instead!  Or maybe a session with a chiropractor.
