BM Storage bags = Missing milk?

When I store my BM in Lansinoh bags, I label the ounces based on the Medela bottles.  It always seems like there ends up being MORE ounces in the bag based on the Lansinoh lines.  However, now that I am back to work and using some of my freezer stash, my DH is finding that there is actually an ounce LESS than what I labeled the bag as.  Could this be because the bottles DH is putting the milk back into are not Medela bottles?  I know there will be some milk that will stay on the sides of the bags...but a whole ounce or more?  Anyone else have this issue?

DH said that the bags were 1/2 oz less than I labeled them.  I just assumed it was because I lost some when I poured in out of the bottle and then he lost some when he poured it into a bottle.

I don't go by what the lansinoh bags say, because it is never right. I always go by what my pumping bottles say and I label accordingly.
