He is really fighting sleep

I thought for sure he would be napping this morning after being up a good part of the night but he is even fighting the nap. I put him in the swing in his room and his eyes are wide open. He does this at night too. He looks so sleeping but every time his eyes start closing he wakes himself up and fights it. I think he is cranky because he is overtired. I know I am!
