Just thought I would share this- this afternoon, my twins went down for their afternoon nap around 3:15. I expected them to sleep for a good hour and a half because they had been up since 11:45 and their morning nap had been under 2 hours long. Well I heard crying on the monitor around 4:00- they were up after 45 minutes (as they have done several times before). Well (no flames please) I happened to be cutting up raw chicken at the time, so I decided to finish what I was doing and let them hang in their cribs for 5-10 minutes. The crying stopped after about 5 min or so and then..it was silent.. and the little buggers slept another hour until 5:15!! Well now I know that it's a possibility, I'm going to wait 5 minutes when they wake up early during that nap!

ive let them hang out for up to 20 min (not crying, but awake, and it was too short a nap), and had them go back to sleep! i love when that happens.
