Have any of you been having a weird pressure feeling in your pelvic area? I swear it feels like it did at the end when the baby's head was pushing down.  I have an appointment on Thursday and plan on talking to the OB then since I just started noticing it the last couple days but wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing this.

Just this morning, actually!  It's like a weird "heaviness," almost like I have to go to the bathroom (sorry if TMI), but I don't.  It seems to come and go, but it's worst if I've been standing for a long time.  At my last appt. my OB mentioned that LO was already really low (I carried DS low, too), so I have been thinking maybe that was it.

Please do ask your OB about it (my next appt isn't until next Tues.) and let us know what you find out!

yes and yes! really recently...as of this week. I thought it might have been because I was working out. Really weird you say this.

this is the reason I had to see the OB today....same exact thing.

I have been having that same kind of pressure..I was just telling my other pregnant friend on Sunday. I have a doc appt on Tuesday, I am going to mention it to the doc.

Yes! I was freaking out about it but then it stopped, so I guess everything is ok. I will be mentioning it at my appt on Monday though.

I just asked about this at the Dr. today because I have been having it since Thursday. With DD I didn't have it until she was head down. The Dr. said that this is a common complaint for second time Mom's because the muscles aren't as tight and you carry lower. He did an ultrasound just to make sure it wasn't a shortening uterus and everything looked great. It definitely gave me piece of mind. He told me to just rest when I feel the pressure and try to sit when I can.

Thanks for all the input ladies.  I am glad to hear that I am not the only one experiencing this. I will ask my doctor too and let you know what they say.
