...your 2-year-old locks you out of the house in 11-degree weather when you're already running late for work!
That's right! It took DH coming home from work and the help of our neighbor to pry open our (brand new) storm door. Cal just couldn't comprehend how to turn the lock back the other way!
Fun times around here, folks!
Re: You know it's going to be a great day, when...
Ugh... I worry about this all the time. DS knows how to lock the door and if I'm bringing in groceries, I'll leave him inside while I run back and forth to the car. He insists on closing the door each time and I'm worried that one of these times he is going to lock it.
Sorry you had such a rough start to your day.

Psalm 113:9 He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD.
That stinks. Hayden likes to close all the doors. I fear this happening to us one day.
OH MY GOSH!! That is scary! Sounds like you kept your calm and handled pretty well. Me, I would've had a heart attack thinking she was going to do something in the house to harm herself..like choke on something...just cause I'm nuts like that!
I also fear this happening to us in the car!
Hope your day takes a turn for the better!
I might have had he left the room for long but he stayed right on the other side of the door talking to me the majority of the time, and was especially excited when our neighbor and then Daddy showed up!
