Had a midwife consult today

in 1st Trimester
So I will be going with them. I have to call in the morning to set up my first appt. They do it between 10-12 weeks. I was hoping to hear a heart beat before telling anyone, but I don't want to wait that long to tell our parents. So I think we might tell them next week

    I love my midwife! 

    We're in the same boat.  Didn't hear hb at my 1st consult on Friday but need to tell everyone.  I think we are going to tell next week at 10w.

    Yes I loved my m/w. I didn't hear her HB until 12 weeks with DD.

    Yay!  I went to a midwife for my first pregnancy and I plan to do it again for this baby.  I received really great hands-on care.
