How many skeins do you have of that oor are you saying you'll use a different yarn? I already had that in my faces as well. Hadn't made it to the queu yet butaybe some day I'll knit something for myself.

I will have one coming to me as a present, I'd have to buy the rest of it (and it looks like I'd just need 3 skeins, which sucks, making it a $48 project...)  However, I *have* been wanting to do something for myself.  I can't say it's probably the best timing...

A $48 project is kind of cheap, papagena.  You are such a knitting newbie, lol!  I think that sweater looks like a good beginner sweater project.  AND you'll be able to wear it nursing (er, or with your nursing boobs, lol).

merino and silk?  Sounds heavenly!

I think that pattern is very cute and would look gorgeous.  Plus you can wear it pregnant and while nursing, it'll adjust very well with your changing body :-)
