I have heard of this but never taken the time to discover what it really means. Is this literally Chicken on top of waffles? What else is involved?

I know there was a bones vs no bones discussion, but do you just use chicken tenders or nuggets at home? That's what I'm picturing.

Usually I'd say bone in but I've got boneless chicken breasts in the house so that's what I'm using.

I think it is a southern dish.  It is awesome.

As far as bone in.  We do bone in.  I have had it without.

I'm a pro-bone In (that totally made my mind shoot to the gutter) for fried chicken and waffles, but really I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Ya'll eat chicken and waffles weird.

 I make mine Amish style. Chicken and gravy and veggies and savory goodness on waffles. I need to make this now. Maybe later this week...

I've never understood this. 

But I'm also not a fan of fried chicken.

Eggos!?  Hell no. I wouldn't feed those to my dog.

I have had it several ways.  Belgain and just a plain old waffle.

I made it with plain ol waffles- actually with waffle mix from kodiak cakes.  So good.
