NPR: Bronzer?

I'm feeling fat, pale, and haggish.   In order for me to turn this funk around, I'd like to work on my tan.  Any bronzer recs that make the skin look decently tanned and won't make me orange?   I have a gift card to Sephora if there's one on there you can recommend.   I'm also thinking of trying the spraytan booth at a local salon - good, bad, ugly?

I just started using Bare Minerals and I really like it. I got the starter kit that comes with bronzer, but you can buy it separately too.
