How long does it take for the 16 weeks blood results to come back?

I have my 16 week appointment today, and they are taking blood for the tri/quad/whatevs screen. As you can imagine, I'm most concerned about NTDs, but the plan is to ask them for any test available under the sun to see if this one is healthy.

How long will I be biting my nails for before the results will come back?

Also, at your 16 week appointment, did they do anything else besides weigh, pee in a cup, poke around, and take blood?

No 16 week appointment weight, blood  pressure, listen to heart, pee in a cup. At 18/20 weeks anatomy scan, and then 22/24 weeks glucose tolerance.  My doctors office only calls me if I get bad results, which seems to only take a day or two.  OMG your 16 weeks already!

I asked how long the results took, they told me 5 days.  They called I think on the 6th day to say everything came back negative.  Otherwise it was a normal monthly appointment.  Good Luck!

My dr's office goes by no news is good news.  I would think they would have the results within a few days though.
