How do you organize/store all your CDs?

I am trying to figure out a nice way to organize the different types of dipes for ease of use... What system do you ladies use?

I saw a few posts below with a PIP of a great bin organization system from Target.  The only thing I was thinking is that once baby is big enough and moving around-those lower bins are going to be cleaned out by the little guy.  Any helpful tips??  Thanks!  Bonus points for a PIP!

  • We do the 9 bin storage thing from Target and he does sometimes go into the bins but after taking one or two out he gets bored and moves onto destroying something else.  For us it works very well.

  • We have an old dresser and hutch set that DH got from his mom. We took the hutch part off and use just the dresser part for a combination changing table/baby storage. It has 6 drawers and 3 lower cabinets. The drawers are for her tops, pants, and CDs (one for snaps, one for aplix, and one for inserts). The cabinet has all of her blankets. We threw a changing pad on top, and there's also room for her wipes warmer.
  • My handy-dandy DH made this changing station for us.

Before, we used a smaller 3 drawer hand-me-down table but it just didn't have deep enough drawers for CDs.

We're similar to this, but no cabinets and we just keep diapers and supplies in the drawers. We have 3 drawers for the OS diapers and overnight diapers, 1 drawer with the AIOs and entertainment/diaper cream bin, 1 drawer reserved for the NB diapers once we get back from the hospital, and 1 drawer for wipes, wet bags, and the "first aid" type basket (thermometer, baby vicks rub, prescription creams, etc). The changing pad goes on top and the wipes warmer goes on the end.

  • Right now we are using this dresser.

It has curtains to cover the shelf where odds and ends get stored and the diapers go in the 3 drawers.  Pockets and AI2's in the top drawer; prefolds, fleece soakers, and extra inserts in the second drawer.  Third drawer is full of clothes.

Although we don't have a baby yet and this system hasn't been in use, I can already tell it's not going to work.  This dresser is going to be used for clothes when we get our new storage system.

I think we are going to get something like this.

  • we have the toy bin things from target and ya DS has a ball cleaning them out but at this point as long as he's entertained and not hurting himself it doesn't really bother me.

  • The 'changing table' is actually a dresser.

    3 drawers in top row:

1 is for extra inserts/ flushable roll of liners we got from someone

middle is for liners, soakers, hempbabies, and has a small tray we use for Snappis

1 is for wet bags for dipe pail/ can

    middle has two drawers:

left is for AI1 and AI2, and portable wet bags (for dipe bag or sitter)

right is fitteds (GMs, Sbish, etc...), covers, cloth wipes

    bottom has two drawers:

left is for extra 'still too big' dipes we haven't tried yet

right is fofr all extra PFs, quilty, embellished, Gerber thins (we found they work well for catching puke from a sick little DD :-( They were soft on her face and we had tons on hand.

On the top of the dresser is the changing pad and a basket with our  wipe solution (water w/ 2-3 drops of doTERRA brand lavender, melaluca, and sometimes geranium), butt paste for when sitters let her go too long and she has a really sore bum.

    Hope this helps!

The picture is cute, but you are right about the bins being ravaged by inquisitive LOs.
