I'm really sorry and really sorry that you may have to wait to pursue your next option.  I know that has to be really frustrating on top of sad.

I guess before you start acu (or if you want to try some things on your own), I would recommend 2 books:

The Tao of Fertility: https://www.amazon.com/Tao-Fertility-Healing-Chinese-Medicine/dp/0061137855/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1296480763&sr=8-1

this is a good intro to acu and has lots of practices you can do on your own.  I actually followed many of these things during my IVF cycle.

The Infertility Cure by Randine Lewis is the hardcore acu book, but it has lots of good information.  I followed this book for a year.  I have to say, I really wanted to find an acu practioner that did more herbs, and that's why I'd be curious if you find someone that does.

The needles are really so minor.  You never feel them!

Hope this helps.
