R/P can not catch a break

DS can not catch a break. he has been off and on sick with Gi issues for about 8-9 months now. 

 

Now he has pneumonia.  we caught it early, right lung only a little bit there.  so hopefully antibiotics will help quickly.  but man.  he is miserable.  he is coughing half the night.  waking himself up.  crying. 

 we put him to bed at 7:15 because he skipped his nap.  he cried off and on till 10:30ish.  we decided to give him a 2nd dose of his antibiotic, and then he finally fell asleep.  poor kid is exhausted, but his cough will not let him sleep.

Aw, poor guy.  I'm sorry he's been so sick.  I hope he feels better soon!

poor baby.   i hope he knocks the pnemonia soon.  September was terrible for us because we started the month off with pneumonia and ended it with a double ear infection.  not my idea of a good time.

I don't know much about pnemonia, but what is his cough caused from? Drainage irritating his throat and then causing him to cough? If so, we have always used the vicks vaporizer while ds slept. One pad lasts for a good 6 hours and it helps with his breathing and drainage. It works every time.

A is sick for the third time in a month and a half or so too. Sucks. Winter should be fun.
