Babies: 0 - 3 Months

can a baby sleep in a pack n play once it's lowered?

Once your baby reaches 15 lbs, I believe, that's the limit for the bassinet part of the pack n play. Once it's lowered, though, can you still have your baby sleep in it?? Or is that not recommended?

  • Why wouldn't it be recommended?

  • Absolutely. You just have to reach further. It is just like lowering a crib mattress.

This. DS sleeps in the PNP all the time when we travel.

  • It's perfectly fine. That's where DD takes most of her naps.

  • They can totally sleep in it.  When DS goes to my mothers he will sleep in that since they don't have a crib there.  When we take family vacations that will be his "travel crib"  We bought the fitted comforter sheet for the mattress, it's really cosy!
  • DD sleeps in it at Grandma's house and when we go on vacation.

  • Yep. Before we moved DS to his crib and he had reached the weight limit for the bassinet part of the pnp, we lowered it and he would sleep in the bottom.
