I am a hairstylst. I started studying Early Childhood Education at Colorado State University but never finished because cosmetology was always my passion (and CO was way to cold for this FL girl)

In a past life I worked in automotive ERP software, doing crystal reports and EDI. I think about going back to college once DD is in school all day and 2.0 is in preschool. Not sure what for

I was a civil drafter for a civil engineering firm.
Then, I went back to school and got my masters in elementary and special education! (just graduated in December). So, while I am trying to find a job as a teacher (would LOVE to teach 1st or 2nd grade), I am substitute teaching for now, which is kind of nice because it is really convienent to choose which days I want to work and which days I don't
I work for the US Air Force. I am a reservist in a Civil Engineering squadron one weekend a month 2 weeks a year but Mon-Friday I work the exact same job as a civilian.
As soon as DH advances I would like to be a SAHM/finish my degree in Nursing. So far the timing is lining up just right with pre-school time frame

It's mentioned in my post from earlier--I've got my MLIS (Master's in Library and Information Science), but am not a librarian. I'm a supervisor at a university library.
My undergrad major was Geographical Information Sciences, and in my previous job, I made property/land-use/soil maps for a property tax software company. Unfortunately, the company got acquired and cut the mapping department, but that's when I decided to go back to school for the MLIS.

I am an Instructional Coach (basically I go in and observe teachers and coach them to be better teachers by providing a variety of services).
I taught SS in a middle school for 6 years before that. I have my B.A. in Global Studies and Middle School Ed. and 2 Master's Degrees. One in Education of At Risk Youth and one in Educational Administration.
Ultimately, I'd like to be a principal at the elementary level or MS level. I have no interest in high school. I also plan on starting my EdD. when H finishes his PhD in a couple years.
While I was in college for my undergrad, I was an Optician (did the testing to become certified) and thought about going to school to be an Optometrist. It was neat to do the basic stuff before the doctor came in (I did refractions, tested for glaucoma, and some visual field tests). I didn't care for the fixing glasses and paperwork. It was a really good job to have in college though!
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

I'm jealous. I love horses, I always dreamed of doing this while I was growing up!!
I'm a kindergarten teacher. I got my B.S. in Early Childhood Education, M.A.E in Administration, and will finish my Ph.D in Elementary Education w/a specialization in Early Childhood Education in MAY. Just in time for LO!
I'm hoping to work in higher ed and/or politics in the future!
I am a special education teacher at a high school. I am the case manager for 7 students with moderate to profound cognitive disabilities. We work on functional academics, increasing independence in daily living skills, and gaining prevocational skills. I got my BA in Special Education and my MA in Special Education.
This is my 8th year teaching and I love it!
Where'd you get your masters in Education of At Risk Youth? I've never heard of that but am intrigued (not that I want to go back to school again!) Poverty is my area of interest, as well as culturally responsive teaching.
I'm from FL!!! Born and raised in Miami
As me and you we're just discussing on FB, I'm a firefighter but currently am not going into burning buildings for very obvious reasons.

I am a photographer (Maternity, Newborn, Family and my passion Fine Art Nudes, mostly black and white) and have a blog (fashion related).
I am based from home so that I can be there for my son when he comes home from school.
75% through law school after this semster, so I plan to be in-house counsel for my current employer when I graduate in May 2012 (and subsequently pass the bar, of course). I want to do estate planning for our Wealth Management group eventually. Right now I'm a Credit Officer for a pretty well known national bank headquartered in Steelers' land. I'm happy but some days between planning wedding/planning for baby/school/ and work I want to pull my hair out.
I think ultimately I want to be like Erika Christensen's character in Parenthood (anybody else love that show?!) and my husband will be a stay at home/ work from home daddy. He wants to go back to school after I finish (for CPA/accounting).
Park University in Parkville, MO. Much of the program could be done online though.
Poverty is my area of interest as well. As well as incarcerated youth.
