anyone try cutting fleece liners for lil joeys?

do you cut them to just go in the middle, like between the inner gussets?  Or do you go wider almost to the outer gussets?  Mostly I want to avoid meconium staining, TIA!

I would cut to fit between the gussets so the messes stay in, though meconium is definitely not runny, so you probably wouldn't have an issue like with EBF or EFF poo... after the meconium stage, you really don't need the fleece liners because the inside is already a stay-dry material

FWIW, we used Lil joeys from day one. I intended to use liners, but they hadn't arrived yet when LO came a little early, so we just used the diapers with no liners. And we didn't get any staining, I just washed normally and it was fine.

thanks for the advice ladies, I cut some to just go between the inner gussets and they look so so tiny!
