How did you work timing, etc.? We are looking to TTC#2 and had TTTC our first time. Got pregnant on IUI#2 with Clomid/Ovidrel. We're unexplained. Really concerned with having multiples (amongst other concerns, mainly financial). Thought unmedicated might be a good option. Other option is Femara instead of Clomid. Thoughts??
TIA
Re: Tell me about your unmedicated IUI
Sorry, I don't have any advice since I haven't been in your position.
I am curious about your use of Femara with an unexplained diagnosis....my RE told me that Femara doesn't work to superovulate (even though I've seen women on the bump using it for that purpose) so I can only use Clomid (I am unexplained as well). I would much rather use Femara, though. Did your RE say anything about this?

I'm not sure what you mean by "superovulate". Currently I'm ovulating (which I was annovulatory the first time around). Just trying to strengthen my ovulation a little and ovulate a little earlier (currently have a really long ovulatory phase and short LP). My RE didn't mention that to me. She only mentioned the Femara as an alternative use to Clomid d/t the lower risk of multiples.
I didn't mind Clomid the first time around. Really didn't have any side effects, didn't overstim or anything.
