So it seems tonight that there has been call outs, a goat, and some newbies or potential newbies expressing their concern. Well here is what I have to say about this whole flarking evening. PS. I am rather drunk, so if I hurt your feelings, I will apologize tomorrow when sober.

1. We are going to fight. We are a bunch of emotional, hurt woman, that aren't getting what we want. That = people not getting along. There are days I don't like myself because I'm a hormonal hot mess, I certainly don't expect you all to like me either. It happens, it's ok, it's life. We need to fight like family. That's the most important thing to remember.

2. We are all trying to get support in the hardest experience of our lives.  There are going to be bumps in the road, people will say meat headed things that hurt someone's feelings and those people are going to say something about it. The important thing is that we recognize that we all care and all want to see each other succeed and that none of it is meant personally. Again, we need to fight like family, if not, no one has fun, we all hurt, and then no good comes from the board which is well, against the whole point.

3. New people need to be able to join us, it's how we keep going. Please don't be scared, I promise we don't bite unless ask. We may be gruff and callus because well we're hurt, and we see a lot of people come through that don't give a flying flip about us which hurts us more. This also makes us protective. Treat us nicely, and we'll love you forever.

4.  If this bothers you, you do have options. a.) get over it. b.) whine for a little then get over it. c.) go away. d.) join the fun, jump in and meet some of most amazing people in your life anyway and be better for it.

Today has been a crazy day; I haven't been on all day because I was sleeping (the flu has beat me up).  I just caught up on all the craziness and I want to say that I LOVE YOUR DRUNK WISDOM!

Wow, that was pretty coherent for a drunk lady LOL. I like the whole fight like family comparison although sometimes the family fights are the most ruthless and cutting.

Those who fight together stay together.

I am too new to know anything about anyone but I do agree that this board is really great. After my first loss there were not separate boards at the time so those of us who had experienced loss just felt ostracized the majority of the time. It is nice to have a place to find support and friendship although It is unfortunate that we are bonded by our grief. Sometimes it is during life's most painful journeys we learn who our true friends are and often, it is those friends who are not afraid to tell us the truth even when it hurts.
