mandarin oranges...

I remember seeing someone post a while ago about giving LO mandarin oranges, so I was going to get some for DS to try today, but as I thought about it I remembered that citrus was supposed to be a "no, no" until 12 months...Are mandarin oranges somehow milder or something? TIA!

They are on our pedi no no list until 12 months old. All pedis are different though. I waited just because I was afraid the acidity would upset their stomachs.

Wholesomebabyfood.com said citrus was okay - some bumpies said not until one year. I only gave DD a little bit of mandarin (she had no reaction), but figured it would be best to wait until she was a bit older.
