I didn't have a problem finding cute shoes through size 5. Size 6 is an entirely different story.
I really don't want to spend $40 (or more) on shoes he is going to outgrow in 3 months, but everywhere that sells reasonably priced shoes only has ugly chunky shoes or character ones.
I know we've talked about shoes quite a bit lately, but does anyone have suggestions?
Re: Disappointed in shoe selection for toddler boys
They're a part of the $30+ per pair club and they have nothing I really like. I may have to suck it up though.
Andrew is in 6.5 and needs 7's next. I feel like there is an awkward in between stage, esp for kids with big feet.
I got his 6.5's at Stride Rite. In 7's there are even less options
I like these a lot (on sale for $29) but I like velcro for Andrew so that won't work.
He'll need sandals in the spring and I like something like this or this, but again, expensive.
Try 6pm.com. They have sales all the time. I got Eli (size 5 and 5.5) 3 pairs for about $30. Nikes and another name brand that I can't recall at the moment.
I just bought Brody 2 pairs of flip flops and Eli a pair of polliwogs for about $30 too.
Good luck!
