I'm new to blogging and in some ways I'm still trying to figure out a lot of things. I created my blog almost a month ago and I only have one entry
. My original intent was to blog about my losses and my TTC journey. Now I'm thinking I want to blog about life in general (our quest for a new home, my interests, hobbies....).
How often do you post? Do you set up a deadline in which to do an entry on a specific topic? Or do you post when the mood strikes you?
ETA: I hope none of you mind if I add your blog. I love reading other people's stories ![]()
Re: Bloggers (w/ ETA)
I'm trying to post every day. I had gotten down to where I didn't post for 5 days and I didn't like that.
My blog was intended for my jewelry, but now it's about everything. I talk about myself, my family, my losses and my jewelry in it.
I say just do what's best for you. If you set a goal it might motivate you to come up with new and creative ideas.

I try to post a few times a week. I used to blog about my life for about 5 years, but then stopped after I got married. I started back up thinking I would blog about my loss and the ttcal journey.
It's kind of a mix now, and mostly when I need to vent about something.

Lol. I welcome any and all! I figured people would get sick of me just talking about my jewelry so I am trying to keep it all balanced.
I have a loss/life blog and a work blog-both linked in my siggy. At first I was so gung ho with both I would post every day or EOD, but now it's dwindled down to once a week for the professional blog (if that) and even less on the other one. I just posted yesterday and I hadn't since before Christmas.
I would set up a goal of something easy, like one post a week at least, then you can add more as you feel like it.

Because of the great "Snow"vember of 2015, my medicated cycle was cancelled. However, we were blessed with our little rainbow baby due on 8/14/15! Baby J had other plans and decided to make his grand ole entrance on 7/4/2015!
Surprise! Our little girl entered this world on 12/8/2016 after her eviction notice was long past due. Our little turkey baby turned into a snow baby!
I like this idea because I think it's manageable. It gives me enough time to pick a topic, brainstorm for it and blog it.

I started my blog when I got pregnant the first time, but now it's become a place for me to talk (or vent) about life in general. I try to post at least once a week, but would love to find the time to do more.
Feel free to follow or link away!
I blog whenever I feel like it. Sometimes it's quite a bit, other weeks it's not very much.
There are blog challenges out there you can do to help you get started posted. I was just doing a 30 day blog challenge, but failed at it
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
I love your jewelry! I just added you to my etsy faves.

I blog whenever the mood strikes, usually once a week after I've been ruminating on a particular thought for a few days. But lately I've been posting everyday since I'm doing the 30 day blog challenge.
Like PP said, blogging is like therapy to me, so I do it more for me than for other people. But if someone gets something out of it-great!

Same here. I want to blog for me, not to try and impress anyone else. I kept thinking it would be a great way to express myself (and vent). I guess I just have to find a pace that works for me.

I actually have three blogs, and I post to them all differently. One is a "family" blog about me and DH's life (and will eventually - hopefully - feature posts about our kids as well). I try to update that one at least once per week. Usually my topics are what we did over the weekend, funny things that happen, etc. Just daily life stuff that really no one other than our closest friends and family would even care about. lol
Then I have my loss/TTCAL blog. I post to it every few days. My topics there include everything TTCAL-related. (Feel free to check it out!
Link in siggy.)
Then, my newest blog is my photography blog. I'm doing the 365 Project so thats pretty much all I post about right now, but maybe someday it will become something more.
Hopefully this helps!

I could have two blogs. One about TTCAL and another more general one family. God knows I don't want them knowing my issues!
I've got to look through everyone's blogs when I have more time this weekend. Thanks!
