Poll: Maternity Jeans

Tell me about your favorite maternity jeans.  What style are they?  Who makes them?  Why do you like them?  PIP or LIP if possible.

I only have one pair so far, and I like them, but I need to get them hemmed.  Even though I bought petite, I'm just too darn short for anything!  I can't wait for capri weather!

They're from Motherhood Maternity Store, which is currently having a Buy One, Get One 1/2 Off Sale.

So I can't wear any of my old jeans without the band anymore...but I was surprised by one pair of non maternity jeans that I LOVE! My skinnies!

When I bought these in the summer, I thought they would be my first pair of jeans to go once I got pregnant. But, they sit so low and are very stretchy. I am not mentally prepared to make the move yet, and these are the only jeans I wear! I like this thread because I think I will have to face the music at some point!

I have two pairs from Kohls.

One is a small panel, and one is a full panel. The small panel fits better now.

I got the full panel with a little bit looser fit, as I imagine my hips and ass would get bigger as I get bigger.

Motherhood, Long Secret Fit Belly Super Stretch Boot Cut jeans. I bought these after my last appt, I got a size bigger than I probably need, but that'll benefit me down the road. They're comfortable, and the length is a little too long, but one was and dry the length is almost perfect. Motherhood has my favorite jeans/work pants because of their secret fit belly. Its super comfortable.

i have a few pairs from Old Navy that are ok, but my favorite that i just got in the mail (also from ON) are maternity Skinny jeans, full-panel.  They are the only pair i have found that actually fit me in length (i am 4'11, so even "short" sized tend to be at least 1-2 inches too long) AND the best part - they actually make my legs & butt look good (no saggy, frumpy looking bum!). i highly recommend them!

I have these too, and they're great.  I have the longs, and at 34" they are the perfect length.  The belly panel is SO comfortable.

 They are paige premium Robertson Wide leg; I got them hemmed so they are perfect for flats. Also got them on Gilt for about 70% off of retail.

I'm a sucker for designer jeans- luckily, I got mine on sale.

Gap long & lean, full panel.  Awesome in the "long" length for those with 34"+ inseams.  When I was PG with DS, I randomly gained weight in my thighs toward the end, so I bought a size or two up from my pre-pregnancy size this time.  They're cute now, and will not make my legs look like sausages later.

If you can, try to just buy one or two pairs now - it's hard to know where you'll gain weight over the course of your PG, and what fits you now might look all wrong in a few months.

I got Gap 1969 Maternity Jeans with the demi panel.  I figure I will only wear them a short while since it is hot down here in the spring and summer - too hot for jeans.  And I will probably wear them postpartum.

I'm totally cheap, so I just bought a pair of Boot Cuts and Skinnys from JCPenny.  The "brand" is called Duo (its their store maternity brand).  They were like $15 and look great!  I have a big booty (like before I got pregnant)...so they fit me REALLY well.  Sometimes I have to buy jeans too big everywhere else to accommadate my junk in the trunk.    I was really pleased when I found these.

2 pairs from Kohl's.  They were 40% off on sale and I had a 30% off coupon.  So they were about $22 a pair.  I think they are stylish and comfortable.  A little long, but I'm too lazy to hem so I rolled 'em up.

I also have the J Brand mama J jean leggings. They are jeans, not leggings, but are straight leg and hit the ankle, have a zipper, etc...but do not have a panel...they are lower on you. My pair are still too big in the belly/hip area, but not in the legs.

American Star. I think they're at Pea in a Pod maybe. They're my SIL's and we pass them back and forth. Fit great, don't get all saggy and stay up. I also like the ones with the lower panel (I'm short so the full panel ones just feel weird and slide down). They're my go to and I cry when they're in the wash.

I also have a pair fo Liz Lange for Target (Also SILs) and they have a drawstring cord tucked inside so you can adjust as necessary. Love those too.

I like the Motherhood ones but they're so long and slide down fast on me.

I also have these and I love them. They look so nice! I also have a pair of full panel boot cut jeans from Motherhood that I like. The fabric annoys me sometimes (it's all stretch), but they look good and should fit for a long time. I bought my regular size in each and they fit well, leaving quite a bit of room for growth (without giving me a saggy butt!).

I got a pair from Thyme maternity, they're dark wash, straight leg, full panel but you can fold it over.  I'm not much of a jean girl and I'll have to get them hemmed before I can wear them

I'm loving my maternity khaki pants I got a lot more, they're green and awesome.
