So hard keeping myself quiet.......
My 17 yr. old SS told us the other day that when he asked to use the car to go to the mall he actually had a date! ( the first that we know of).
He is very quiet but we suspected there was a girl involved due to the amount of texts on his phone. My DH said that boys just dont talk THAT much! LOL
I was really happy that he told us about it and it was hard not to ask a million questions! I just said that I was glad he told us and I left it at that. Of course it is killing me not knowing who he took to the movies! I know if I just keep mum, it will come out and he will feel that he can speak freely if we dont bombard him with a ton of questions. Of course my DH said he really really really needs to sit down and make sure his son knows how to treat a girl! ( I've been after him for years to do this!)

Haha, this is funny. I am younger so it wasn't that long ago that my mom was hounding me about this stuff. I can only imagine my H and myself when the kids start dating. lol. Thankfully not for a LONG while.
On a second note, I just had a 'I live in Las Vegas' moment. You said he wanted to go to the mall on a date. I was thinking 'why the HELL would someone take a girl to the mall on a date?' then later you said they went to the movies. I didn't make the connection for a minute or two, because I've never seen a movie theatre in a mall. They are ALL in casino's here. Goodness me....
