I'm going to cry...... KU FANS ANYONE?

We are huge KU basketball fans! One of the main players Thomas Robinson's mother died who was I believe 38 of a heart attack. This following the recent death of his grandma and grampa (recent as in the past 3 months.) So, he only has one member of his immediate family his 9 year old sister who actually had to call him and tell him about his mom passing. KU paid for the WHOLE TEAM to be there with him, even the coach! And they also said they would pay for his 9 year old sisters way to Lawerence, Kansas to be with her brother! That is seriously so sweet T & P to the Robinson family.

That is a horribly sad sorry, my heart goes out to this young man.  Sounds like KU is doing a great job at being supportive and caring.  What a wonderful place to be.

I did not hear this story, how nice though! My DH and I went to KU (technically I still go there, but we don't live in Lawrence anymore) and I'm sure DH heard because he follows the Jayhawks pretty closely. I am not a sports fan, although I did watch that amazing National Championship game a few years ago!

I am a MIzzou fan, so normally don't have anything good to say about the Jayhawks... but this is a really awesome thing the school/program did for someone going through a hard time!
