did you notice your boy(s) grow so much faster than your girl(s)?
Our son is huge in comparison to our daughter already. When they were born he only had her by 7 ounces and a half inch. But OMG he's massive compared to her now. The only thing she has him beat on is her head. She's like a little lollipop (which she totally gets from me, my head is too big for my body - think Giada DeLaurentiis, LOL).
Re: if you have boy/girl twins or trips
Give it time. Landry was 4.2 lbs and Hudson was 5.9 at birth and she has a half pound and a half inch on him now.
My boy was 6 lbs 5oz at birth and my girl was 4 lbs 15.5 oz. They were within an inch of each other lengthwise. At 2 months, she was 9lbs 7 oz and he was 14lbs 2 oz. He went into 0-3 clothing way before she did, and now he's wearing a lot of 3-6 stuff comfortably and she's just gotten to where her 0-3 stuff doesn't look like a hefty bag on her.
I was in a store and someone said "Oh, I can tell they aren't identical because he's so much bigger than she is!"
*gigglesnort* was that the first clue? LMAO
LMAO!!! Gotta love the stranger questions:)
Mine have always been very close in size actually. DD's head has always been bigger, so people assume she's heavier, but really DS has always been an inch or so taller, and has always weighed a few ounces more except for about a 6 week period of time when DD weighed a bit more than him. They go up a size in clothes within a week or two of each other, they go up in shoe size at almost the same time, and everything. Their mega growth spurts have even always been at the same time. I think it's kind of odd especially because they're different sexes.
Steal my kids picture or pretend they are yours, I will find where you live and ship all of their dirty diapers to your doorstep. Promise.
They arrived at 36 weeks after PTL and bedrest for 14 weeks.
Exactly the same at birth 6lb13oz and they were the same weight and height at their 2-year appt. They have always been within ounces and 1/2 inch from each other.
