I love my MIL but ...

Backstory... She is a wonderful kind and caring lady. They don't baby DH BUT the do baby his 35 year old younger brother. And she is a worry wart. Anyways.... Dh went away (left today) until Monday and it snowed. No biggie. DH cleared it before he left. She called at 8:30 making sure I was ok, FIL came to clear my driveway were the plows put back a TINY bit of snow... Invited me to spend the weekend with them, asked me for dinner every night this week (thank goodness I have plans for most of the weekend) and just called to ask if she wanted me to have her bring over take out for dinner. Thanks lady but I am actually looking forward to "me" time. I am pg not handicapped and have lived by myself before. I keep saying thanks for the offer but I have plans. I feel bad but no wonder BIL has issues because she is definitely a hover parent! Thanks for letting me vent.
