at coworker's birthday lunch. They were out of bacon. Seriously, how can a restaurant be out of bacon?!?!
Oh, and we took two cars to get there. We got lost on the way there and arrived 25 minutes later than the other group (boss, not so secret girlfriend, rhyming baby names, and germaphobe). They had already ordered and were eating! And then they got up and decided to go back to work right after we got our food because they were done. I am pretty sure I work with the weirdest group of people ever.
Re: No Bacon Dessert
I'd say that's generally more rude than weird.
and to there being no bacon!

you should write a sitcom based around your workplace. It's kind of close to The Office, but it's got a legal theme, which is way overdone, so you need a hook. My vote is that your hook should be CBL -- not sure how to incorporate her. Maybe she's the narrator or something....there has GOT to be a way to make money off these people.
and sorry the lunch was weird. but what's new, right?
