Just getting started with a few questions!?

First DH would love to just get one brand like fuzzibunz how likely is it that we will be fine with one brand?  Also I ordered 6 smalls in fuzzibunz do you think those will fit a new born our family ussually has 8 lb children.  Next where are the best places to look for diapers on line I found diaper swappers but I am really confused on how it works?  any other good options for seconds or sales!!  I would appriciate it.

Dapadiapers sells FB seconds.

For diaper swappers, you sign up and once you've got a login, you  just look for people posting what you want and then either post in their thread or PM them. You pay via Paypal, they ship to you. They have a pretty good feedback system, and so far, I've had great luck there.

As for "just one brand", why not "just one style"? You might want to try more than one brand, but stick with pockets or all in ones or whatever.

I found the small FB to be huge.  DS actually fit into his one size BumGenius pockets before the FB smalls....not sure if this is common or just DS's build. (He's long and thin)

I wouldn't build an entire stash of one brand until you know they work for you.  If we had started with only BG we would have been fine.  If I had done an entire stash of FB we would have been screwed....they just never fit well for us but work great for others.

Diaper Swappers is good for used diapers...I also like Jillian's Drawers gently used section.  A lot of women here like Spot's Corner but I don't have much luck....it seems to be a lot of fitteds which I don't use as many of.  For new diapers there are a ton of sites....check the FAQ link at the top of the board.

Smalls won't fit a NB.  I'd caution you not to go overboard buying 1 kind before you know it really works for you.  FB did not work at all for us.  Leaked every time.  I ended up selling them off.

i heard to have more than one brand on hand and start small...im a first time cloth diapering mom just waiting to get mt FB in the mail to try them out....Good luck
