Crazy neighbor drama...

So I live in the suburbs, and an area that is very nice in my opinion. Truth be told when I was growing up (a mile away from where I live now), my parents never even locked their doors. I am in a condo complex, like 8 buildings all with four condos/apts.

This afternoon I hear some yelling and peek out the window and there are 3 cops banging on one of the doors in the building next to mine, with their guns drawn. I peek out of one of the other windows and there are an additional 5 cops, 3 on the side and two standing in the back (to make sure they don't jump out the back windows). After yelling pounding on the door they eventually knocked the door down. Then I hear "show me your hands, put your hands up now" and a few minutes later two guys escort a guy out in handcuffs. I saw the lady who lives there, and they did not take her with. Not sure if it was a domestic dispute or drugs or what, but even though it is a nice area... makes me want to really find our dream house soon.

Don't stress. There will be neighbor issues anywhere you live. I live on a military base, feel totally safe, and there's still some sketchy stuff I hear about.

A few months ago, I walked outside on a tuesday night to get something out of my car and imagine to my surprise 2 cops leaning across the bed of DH's truck with rifles out, the entire street covered with cop cars and the 2 cops yelling at me to get back inside.

About 15 minutes later they knock at the door asking if anyone else was home and how we had to evacuate. I wake DH up, he hears Swat in our back yard (our bedroom is on the same side as the neighbors)

The Boyfriend held his girlfriend and her kids hostage because he was drunk. Htey finally got him out of the house and the girlfriend starts yelling at the cop that he was being too rough with him and how she is going to sue him for brutality.

I called the landlord the next morning and they moved out 2 months later...

OP - I want to give your kitties a hug... they are too cute in that bottom picture.

I've had even crazier drama in a really upscale community I once lived in (someone shot)... I wanted to break my lease. But some things are just wrong place wrong time and never happen again twice.
