When to tell everyone

Do most people still wait until the 1st trimester is over normally?  I do not know if I am pregnant yet, but I kind of think that I am.  I stopped taking the pill at the beginning of Sept, right before my last period.  I had some stomach cramps last Thursday, which would have been (by my calculation) 8 days after ovulation.  I took a test on Thursday afternoon and then again yesterday afternoon and they were both negative.  I shouldn't start until Wednesday anyway, so it is kind of early. But I just started thinking about when we will tell everyone.  Just wanted to see what most people do.

Whenever it is right for you and your husband. It's different for everyone. We told some people right away and didn't tell others until after our first u/s.

When the time comes I plan to wait until after we hear the heartbeat or first ultrasound. Good luck this cycle btw! I've been off birth control since the beginning of July and just received my first signs of ovulation this cycle!
