I've searched high and low on Google and I'm not getting a lot...it seems like a waterbirth in this medical town is next to impossible. I'd prefer a CNM but it seems they all work at the birthing center or at Magee. Are there any options I'm missing? I live in the city.
The only option for waterbirth in this area is to have a homebirth. Magee and The Midwife Center will allow you to labor in the water but once you start pushing you have to be out of the water. I'm sure once in a while it happens that way unplanned but that's the general rule.
