New to CDing

So I have been reading up on the board ever since DH and I started contemplating CDing.  I remember awhile back a mom saying she used Bum Genius AIO and then used a flushable biodegradable insert from whole foods.  Where the poop went on the insert and the pee went into the diaper so less mess for clean up?  Does anyone know what brand she was talking of or uses this technique.  Also I'm thinking of using the Bum Genius AIO for a newborn probably around 8 lbs do I need to purchase CDs for him that will work for early on?  I've seen a couple of reviews that said teh AIO was too big for a newborn

    Thanks I appreciate the response.  I guess I was just a little confused and slightly overwhelmed (not to mention hormonal) after reading the FAQ portion.

    The DH likes these best.  We are currently using the Grovia ones and seem to work well.
