Why is burts bees ok for CD

As far as I can tell, Burts Bees makes use of the same zinc oxide stuff as all other diaper rash cream.  So why is it ok to use with CDs when other brands are a no no?

  • I didn't think zinc oxide cream of any kind was safe for CDs... is it?

  • Oh ok.  Good. I thought I was missing something.  I swear I've read in two separate places that people use Burts Bees with their CDs... of course, now I can't remember where I read it.

  • I've used it before, veeeeery thinly applied, with no problems, but I wouldn't use it regularly.

  • its not the zinc oxide thats not safe, its the cod liver oil (and other fish oils) that you have to watch out for.
