3 days until we leave for Vegas! And not a god damn ...

moment too soon!

Holy crap I need a vacation.

MIL bailed on us last Friday (she was supposed to watch the kids Thur/Fri and Mon for us while we are gone). So we had to scramble and find someone. My mom is staying with them the whole time and had to take a day off of work. My aunt is taking 1/2 day and staying with them Friday afternoon/night (my mom sells jewelry and has a show that night so my aunt will watch them while my mom is doing her show). Just a big logistical nightmare.

My MIL bailed for good reason (she's sick, weak, tired, can't handle the kids) however her delivery left a LOT to be desired and needless to say, she managed to her hurt son (and DIL) in the process. It's been an extremely stressful couple of days. I'll be glad once we get there.

Add in the snow we are supposed to get this week (we are flying out 7am on Thurs morning) and I'm not sure we are ever going to make it to Vegas!

I was thinking your MIL had good reason. Sorry it didn't go over well, though! I'm sure she has so much on her mind.

I hope the weather clears enough for you guys to get on your way. Maybe you'll get stuck in Vegas???

Hopefully you get out on time and have a great time. We leave for Disney next Friday and I can not wait to get the heck out of CT. I feel like I am in Alaska. We added an extra 2 days onto the trip just in case there is another storm that holds us up. It happened to us once going to Vegas and once going to Disney. Disney rescheduled everything, MGM just kept our money for the 2 nights we missed.
