"And can it be that in a world so full and busy, the loss of one weak creature makes a void in any heart, so wide and deep that nothing but the width and depth of vast eternity can fill it up." - Charles Dickens
Most were totally fine, but I feel bad for Avoree and Kyndall (especially Kyndall, whose sister will be getting the perfectly lovely and properly spelled Morgan).
I feel spelling things cr8tively really expresses who I am as an individual. I`m pretty sure we`re going to name this baby Alistair but spell it Alys`Starr. You know, keepin` it real and all.
There were some real doozies. Seriously, Devin Ann? Are they on crack?
But you know what I found interesting? The number of repeats---and not of names that I expected. There were at least three Audreys on the first page alone.
Other repeats were Avery, Julianne/Julia/Julianna, Emerson, Grace, and Natalie. Interesting.
I was actually pleasantly surprised at all the great names on that thread. I'll admit there were a few that threw me for a loop but for the most part, great names! I understand that a lot of the "unusual" middle names were family names, which I totally get. I'm pretty proud of our fellow bumpies... Good job girls!
Married 5/31/08 * TTC#1 9/09 - 2/11 after anovulatory diagnosis and TTC for 1 1/2yrs with several medicated cycles and one chemical pregnancy, we have our first bundle of joy!
IT'S A GIRL!
#2 EDD 2/5/13 dx with anti-BIG E antibody, seeing a MFM
I don't take one single minute for granted.

Re: Few "jems" on this thread...
I'm sorry, WHAT?
Avoree? Like, Avery? But totally butchered?
I. Die.

PAL/PGAL Welcome
There were some really pretty names, and a few that were spelled very poorly or were 100% boy names. Ryan for a girl just seems mean.
Ok, seriously, I have to stop reading that. Emmersyn? Why, why, why? It wasn't trendy enough in the original form? Gahhhhh.
Here's hoping it's just early pregnancy hormones making them cray-cray!

The best part is she thinks people are going to try to steal it.
Kyndall!!! Sounds just like Kindle to me.
OP-I love your unique spelling of gems

Wow. I have no idea who would steal Kyndall.
And Brittany Becka?

Avoree is horrible it reminds me of Ovary
Agreed.

The MN Kiper is confusing me. Is it pronounced "Kipper" or like Piper with a K?
And there's Marley, named after Bob Marley, judging by the poster's siggy.
Dominck? Is that like Dominic? doe-mink?
Maeve, I'm not sure how to pronounce. May-v? It could be pretty, just NMS.
Maeve rhymes with save. It is a traditional Irish name.
I actually like Kyndall and Ryan for girls but I know I'm in the minority.
I lol'd at Emmersyn--why?! And Scout as one of the mn for a girl.
Actually, it's not so bad. Granted, DD isn't quite 3 yet, but so far nobody's misread her name (yet). :-)
Hahah, that's exactly what I thought, too.
