Hey,

I read your post in the thread about Face 2 Face. I am pretty sure "Rainbows" refer to people having a live baby after a loss. The baby is considered a "rainbow baby"...not sure why, but I have picked up on that from reading some Faces of Loss stories. I could be way off?

    yeah thats what it means... I don't know exactly how the term came about but you baby after a loss is considered your "Rainbow" baby.. probably because your loss would be the rain and a rainbow comes after rain.. ok I'm just rambling now.

    I always wondered too and I was told it's because the healthy baby is the rainbow after the storm...
