I have to admit, I'm really not that worked up about the board change. Yes, if I look up, I see "the bump" and the little baby, but, I don't look up. I come in through a bookmarked link that brings me right to this page and I look in the middle of the screen at the posts and that's about it. I don't peruse the frames around the posts.
I'm not saying it wasn't insensitive of the Nest to move us over - it was. But, they also said they are working on rectifying it, or, at least, making the board accessible from a different entry point.
Anyway, I think it's good to have us available from the bump also so that someone new, who is looking at other baby boards, can find us if they need us.
Re: ...Putting on my flame retardant suit....
The biggest reason I don't like it is because TTTC is the only "baby" board i go to--every other board I visit is still on The Nest, so this board being on The Bump is inconvenient for me.
We were always accessible from the bump. But we were always, and were promised to be always accessible from the Nest as well.
Some warning would have been nice and yes, in the grand scheme of things, it is not that big of a deal - but when promises are not kept and people (the nest) act before thinking it shows their unprofesionalism more then anything else.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.
