I'm waiting for my drink, and there are these two waaaaaaaay over dressed women with two kids completely blocking the counter. (I'm all for dressing up and accessorizing. Hell, I looked adorable. But these chicks were ridic. Especially for being at the mall with kids.) One of them throws a complete and total hissy when her caramel frap comes with whipped cream. "SCRAPE IT OFF!!!"
While she was shrieking, one of the kids reaches for the other caramel frap. "PUT IT BACK!! IT'S BEER!" The other woman shrieks. Then laughs as everyone in there is looking at her like WTF? "He knows he can't have beer."
Re: Totally judged this mom in Starbucks today.
I'm going with the combination. Any ONE of the things alone is enough for a side-eye, but combined? Too much.
Mommy to Rachel 1.15.06 and Ashley 5.17.11
Definitely the combo. They were all completely over the top, and put together? Wowza.
You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.
I love seeing stuff like that. There's a mall here in Orlando called Millenia, very high end, think Gucci, Coach, Tiffanys and Rolex. They have more reasonable stores too but they cater to the wealthier people. I like it for Banana, the kids stores and Macys sales.
Anyway, the place is crawling with moms like this. I was in a store looking for a new purse althought DS wasn't with me. I'd run in to go to MAC and a store I like to window shop in is on the way. It's also my birthday this week I saw 2 moms with young kids. The kids were pulling purses off the shelves and I could see the horror in the sales people's eyes. I, on the other hand, found it quite funny.
I wish that I could shop like that but alas I was only an observer from afar.
