Hey, a couple of us on here attend their free group and it is super helpful! Here' a lil blurb I wrote up for a nursing Facebook group.
---
Boca Raton Regional Hospital (BRRH) is offering a *free*
breastfeeding support group for working moms. You do NOT have to have
delivered at this hospital to attend. All moms are welcome to attend and it is free.
It is hosted by Cari Tanella, a Lactation Nurse/Consultant. The group
runs monthly (dates vary) from 3-4:30pm at BRRH's Toppel
Family Place (maternity). 800 Meadows Road, Boca Raton, FL 33486. Free
parking at the hospital. (Upcoming dates: Feb. 12th and March 19th)
This special nursing group is a great way to meet others who are breastfeeding. Participants are not judgmental of those who decide to wean or supplement with formula. It is very supportive and a great way to connect with other working moms and discuss common issues/concerns. A scale is also available so you can weigh your baby before and after a nursing session. This group has the potential to expand to include some other parenting topics if we can get a good size going. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD and share this with anyone you know who might be interested. Thanks!
*Please note: BRRH also offers a free weekly nursing group on Tuesdays from 12:00-1:30pm. I attended this group while on maternity leave, and it was beyond helpful as a new mom trying to get the hang of nursing.
